Pre Kindergarten (VPK) is a FREE program for each four-year-old
born on or before Sept 1st of the current school year, who resides
in Florida to attend a quality preschool program. The goal of
our program is to build a foundation for each child’s educational
success. The VPK program gives each child an opportunity to perform
better in school and throughout life from a high quality pre-school
program.
At Pineapple Cove Academy we offer experiences in
intellectual, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your child’s
development will be enhanced in our outstanding classroom environment
which includes but is not limited to the following: literacy-reading
and library-listening centers, puppets, math, science, music,
creative art, physical-fine & motor skills, dramatic play,
small & large group times, story time, sensory, computer,
cooking, field trips, family and community involvement.
At Pineapple Cove Academy we want you child’s experience
with preschool to be the beginning of a life long love of learning.
Our stimulating, creative environment will surely excite all four
year olds!
What are our teacher qualifications?
At Pineapple Cove Academy our teachers have Early Childhood and
Elementary Education degrees, both BA & Master Programs. The
teacher assistant hold a minimum of a FCCPC (Florida Child Care
Professional Credential). All of our professional, dedicated teachers
are experienced in the preschool environment and come to us with
exceptional references.
Can my child stay all day, or just a half day?
Pineapple Cove Academy has programs to meet the needs of every
family. Whether you only want the three hours per day program,
paid for by the State of Florida, or if you are a working parent,
and need Extended Day Care, or to just staying an extra hour and
half for our lunch program.
How do I register for VPK?
Simply contact the agency listed below and they will direct you
toward obtaining a certificate to enroll your child at Pineapple
Cove Academy.
